I can’t believe I’ve never seen this. O-O Ms. Colleen is awesome! 8D
I’ve always wanted to try some bbq eggplant, but it seems a little odd. xD

As vegans, we enjoy all the wonderful flavors put on meats,
such as BBQ, or any spice you enjoy, we just put these flavors on tofu, tempeh, saitan, portobello mushrooms, same great outdoor flavor and fun.

I wonder if they make petfoods for dogs and cats that r without meat byproducts.

jessybug612August 5th, 2009 at 1:41 am

there are pet foods that are vegan, you just have to look for them.
and ive also heard that dogs fare really well, but it might not be as healthy for cats

Check out Colleen Patrick Goudreau’s cookbooks – The Vegan Table and Vegan Baking. She deserves her own show on the Food Network. We are WAY overdue for an all VEG Cooking Show.

Barbeque tofu??Wouldnt it fall apart. The tofu i know is really soft and will crumble if you try to skewer it, let alone grill for 30minutes!

faylinameirOctober 14th, 2009 at 1:00 am

not if you use extra firm tofu and press the water out before grilling. It actually holds up quiet nicely =)

falseprideOctober 19th, 2009 at 7:28 pm

Awesome!!!

Have a “vegan” merry christmas!

travelingveganJanuary 24th, 2010 at 2:29 pm

Yum!!!!! I’m soo hungry. I have Colleen’s book “Vegan Table” and the recipes are very easy for those wanting to entertain and cook everyday. I need cook books with pictures and this book has plenty.

Wow, for once the Food network doesn’t suck!

SaganAppreciationSocJanuary 27th, 2010 at 8:11 pm

@jessybug612

Try science. You can make cat foods that are vegan that have everything that cats need.
